Coolmore Australia respects and upholds your rights to privacy protection under the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988. The National Privacy Principles apply to us from their introduction in late 2001. This policy describes how we manage any personal information we have about you.

2. What personal information about me does Coolmore hold?

If you are a current, former or prospective client, or you have either requested to receive our Monthly Newsletter, or be included in our email or mailing list, Coolmore Australia may hold the following information about you:

Transaction details associated with your dealings with us, including name(s) of the mare(s) and progeny owned by you and name(s) of the stallions(s) to which your mare(s) have been sent
Other information you submit to us in electronic forms via the Coolmore Website requesting Coolmore Australia to provide information, take actions, or provide services
Information about your interests as they relate to the services offered by Coolmore Australia.

3. What does Coolmore Australia do with my personal information?

We use personal information about you:

To assist in providing our services to you.
To assist with any calls or requests for information made to us.
To communicate promotional and special events for our internal administrative, marketing, planning, product development and research requirements.

If you believe that personal information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, then you may request amendment of it. We will consider if the information requires amendment. If we do not agree that there are grounds for amendment, then we will add a note to the personal information stating that you disagree with it.

Although we intend to observe this policy at all times, it is not legally binding on Coolmore Australia in any way. From time to time we may regard it as necessary or desirable to act outside the policy.
